MI‑factor proudly participated in the full series of Horizon Europe Cluster 6 events held in Brussels on 20–23 January 2026, marking a significant milestone in our European networking and collaboration strategy. Our presence was supported by CARE4BIO and NCP_WIDERA.NET, enabling us to engage directly with the European innovation ecosystem.

Researchers, innovators, SMEs, and public bodies were brought together from across Europe and associated countries, all working toward a more sustainable, resilient, and climate‑smart agri‑food system. For MI‑factor, it was an exceptional opportunity to present our work, expand our network, and explore new collaborative pathways.

The week began with the CARE4BIO interactive training “How to Find Project Partners”, designed to equip participants with practical tools for consortium building under Horizon Europe. The core of our participation was the on‑site matchmaking event, supported by the b2match platform. MI‑factor’s presence highlighted our mission, expertise, and collaboration interests, attracting strong interest from universities, research institutes, and private companies. During the event, we held a series of pre‑scheduled bilateral meetings with research and innovation representatives, opening promising avenues for joint proposals, pilot testing collaborations, and cross‑disciplinary research initiatives. Our first interaction with the PRAXI Network, the Greek Horizon Europe National Contact Point (NCP), as well as other 25 Greek participants onsite, was a pleasure and the highlight of our trip. MI‑factor was also selected to present during the brokerage event, showcasing our expertise in microbial intelligence, metagenomics, and AI‑driven decision support, focusing on soil health, biodiversity restoration, and climate‑resilient agriculture. The presentation strengthened our visibility and positioned MI‑factor as a dynamic, innovation‑driven SME ready to contribute to European R&I consortia. We concluded the week by attending the EC Cluster 6 Info Days, where the European Commission presented the upcoming 2026 Work Program. This provided valuable insights into the expected priorities and funding opportunities. These insights will directly inform MI‑factor’s participation in upcoming Horizon Europe calls.

MI‑factor remains committed to advancing sustainable agriculture through microbial intelligence, precision management, and data‑driven innovation. The connections and insights gained in Brussels bring us one step closer to impactful European collaborations.

We look forward to the next steps and to co‑creating solutions that enhance soil health and build climate‑resilient food systems in direct collaboration with the agri-food sector.

Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming partnerships and project initiatives.
